Question 1

What is a 5 cm trigger?

Accepted Answer

A 5 cm trigger means snow removal is dispatched once snowfall accumulation reaches roughly 5 centimetres. This allows us to service properties efficiently while keeping driveways accessible during storms.

Question 2

What if a car is left in the driveway?

Accepted Answer

We will clear all accessible areas. Areas blocked by vehicles will be skipped and addressed during the next scheduled visit if conditions allow.

Question 3

Do I need to call every time it snows?

Accepted Answer

No. Residential snow removal operates automatically based on snowfall triggers — no calls or requests are required.

Question 4

Are you insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Orangedale is fully insured, and all services are performed by trained, professional operators.

Question 5

What is included and how much does residential snow removal cost?

The base price is $950 per season plus HST, or $190 per month for five months plus HST. City-plow windrow cleanup is included.
